Returns & Exchanges

So, one of the many jobs of a Premier Designs jewelry lady is to handle returns and exchanges. You WILL have an abundance of jewelry brought to you that has gone wrong in some way. Because of Premier's awesome Golden Guarantee, we get to tell our customers, "That's no problem at all! I'll take care of it immediately!"

Now, r/e's can be overwhelming. They can seem frustrating and time consuming. BUT work to keep in mind that this is a WONDERFUL service that Premier offers, and it gives US the opportunity to offer OUR hostesses and customers WONDERFUL customer service!

Now, when I first signed with Premier, I started dealing with r/e's almost immediately. At first, I was running to the post office every time I had an r/e. I quickly realized that I was spending TOO MUCH time and money on this process! So here's what you're going to do!

1. Sign up for an account at USPS.com. It's very convenient, and easy to use.

2. Order some small flat rate boxes. (Under 'ship a package', then 'get mailing and shipping supplies'). These are FREE and are delivered for FREE! :)

3. When you have an r/e, immediately go online & order the new piece. Print the form at the end of the order, and drop the form & the jewelry into the box. DO NOT SEAL IT! I just set the box on a shelf with a post it note on it telling me when to ship it. I try to ship it 7 days before the 30-day limit.

4. Throughout the month, as you get more r/e's, just continue to add them to the same box.

5. When you are ready to ship, go online and print a shipping label for a small flat rate box. (Under 'ship a package', then 'print a label with postage.' It will cost you $5 to print a label for a small flat rate box. And because it's flat rate, you can shove as much as you want in there! My favorite part is there is an address book & you can save Premier's address, and your return address, and use them in the future. The label prints on regular computer paper. Tear the paper in half, put the label half on the box (I use glue AND tape) and then keep the receipt half for your records!

6. Here's my favorite part! Just drop the box in the mail! Or put it in your box with the flag up. The mailman will stop by and pick it up! And you NEVER have to leave your house! :)
