Egg-Cellent.Offer.Promo

Hey girls! Remember to use your promotions. This one is just too cute! AND it will help your retail! They did something similar to this for their birthday in November and that hostess won my "highest retail" award last year! So. You will want to send this information to your April hostesses and encourage them to use it when doing their presales. Then really push it at your shows. You may also want to call any hostesses that have been waivering or who have recently cancelled and tell them what a great time this is to do a home show. It means free jewelry for them becuase their friends will spend more! :) Remember the $40 item they get for free does not count toward the hostesses free jewelry. Also YOU will pay $5 per free item. This is totally worth it though to get your purchases over $75! :)

Out.And.About

Hey girls! Chris and I are going to go SHOPPING! :) With the pure intention of finding some bookings! I'm really excited. We're preparing by finding some online trainings to listen to. I wanted to list them here as well so YOU have some ideas for what to say when you're out and about! :)

On the Premier Designs Website, under online trainings, you'll find the following (you will need to click on the link at the bottom of the first page to get to the archives):

- What to say when you're out and about, by Elizabeth Draper (2010 Archives)
- Establishing more business through referrals by Elizabeth Draper (2007)
- Lifestyle bookings by Sandra Conway (Nov 2006)
- No show? Book a Show! By Teri Ross (2009)

You may also want to browse the Terrells and Drapers webistes for ideas.

Organize.Yourself!

I'm looking forward to hearing notes on ALL of your trainings this month! I attended a new training in Morristown and the ladies were SUPER sweet! I won TWO drawing prizes! The training was on organization. Here are some quick notes:

Organizing Yourself
- Keep your receipts filed by the different sections on the tax sheet I gave you! If you don't have this sheet anymore, it's on the Terrell website

- Find a way that works for you to file your past shows. A couple of the ladies have a file for each hostess. Others file their receipt by CUSTOMER! I fold my hostess order form, stick all of the customer orders and guest surveys, and put it in a box. Maybe I'll get more technical on down the road.

- Once your investment is paid back, buy Hood & House! It's a GREAT program and will benefit your business greatly!

- Set MONTHLY goals so you have something attainable in a short time. My goals for March & April (combined) are to share with 20 people and have 6 home shows.

- In your email, keep a "group" or email tree of just hostesses and another one of just prospects. That way you can quickly send out promotions, coupons, special deals, new lines, etc.

- Keep a box in your car with hostess packets, envelopes for return/exchanges (WITH labels), and supplies for sharing the business. That way you're ALWAYS PREPARED!

- Keep a log by month with people to call to book, prospects, and 60 day mark. So for example, if a hostess says to call her in 2 months, you'd write her in under May. And any hostess you have this month, you would write in under June so you can call everyone who placed an order before their 60 guarantee mark "just to check on them". This is just so they know you're there and remember you as their jewelry lady!

Easter Booking Idea
Also a cute idea for March & April! For your pass or play (deal or no deal, shop or drop) use an Easter basket with plastic eggs! Make at as cutie as you please. :)

Some cute combinations I saw:
- mocha layered with promenade
- savvy layered with runway

Online.Training.Notes

As part of the contest for Destin, Vickie is asking us to listen to online training. Here are some highlights:

I listened to It's Your Thing by Misti Bartlett. The best things I learned from that training are:

1. FUN at your jewelry shows will yield WAY more bookings than "knowledge" about the jewelry! Make sure they're having fun! :)

2. You should be loving and encouraging each woman in the room.

I listened to Confronting Your Fears by Sandra Conway. The best things I learned from that training are:

1. We all have the SAME resources. The same hostess plan, Golden Guarantee, jewelry, etc. Yet some of us do REALLY well and others really struggle. The only difference is YOU. If something YOU are doing (or not doing) is not working for your business, YOU are the one who needs to change it!

2. Confidence is BUILT by doing and DESTROYED by procrastination

3. Encourage yourself so you can encourage others.

4. Make your guests feel important

5. Make phone calls EVERY DAY (she suggested 2 for bookings/hostesses, 2 for prospective jewelers, and 2 for customer care/follow up)

Current.Promotions

Alright girls. Big tip: USE YOUR PROMOTIONS! I've not yet seen a promotion like this: If your hostess gets $550 in sales, she get's this ENTIRE ENSEMBLE (a $162 value) for free! SO. Use it!! Let her know that her show is eligible for this special bonus. Encourage her to work that catalog for pre-sales, and get as many people to her show as possible! Your hostess can keep this ensemble for herself, or give mom a REALLY AWESOME mother's day gift!

When you're "selling the sizzle" on this item, you may want to point out that the two-tone jewelry is REALLY a hot trend right now!

PLUS! If your hostess has $550 in sales, she's going to get $165 in FREE jewelry, PLUS her 4 bonuses! ALL on TOP of Empowered!

Also... $550 may seem really intimidating to some. Remember it's YOUR responsibility to encourage them and help them meet their goal. Hostess coach your tushie off!

Aaaaand... got some girls who are teetering on the fence about becoming a jeweler? Now is the time to really encourage her and let her know this AWESOME promotion can REALLY add a lot to her table! I've NEVER seen a promo like this either! It makes ME want to sign again! Haha.

Remember if she's nervous about getting started: encourage her to find 6-8 friends or family members who would be willing to help her get started. Then she knows BEFORE she even signs her contract that she's gonna be juuuust fine!

Don't have anybody in mind? Start thinking! ALL of you know SOMEONE who can really use Premier in their lives. You've got a GREAT opportunity here! SHARE IT! :)

And this one's for YOU ladies! I hope you've been reading up on the Gleason's promotional contest for a girls' weekend in DESTIN, FLORIDA! And yes... this IS the house we're looking to stay in!

If you haven't checked out the contest, make sure you go back and check your email. It is DEFINITELY SOMETHING all of you can earn. The qualification period for the trip is March-September.

All you have to do is:
1. Hold 21 home shows (about 3/month)
2. Read "Dare to Dream, Work to Win ($2 plus shipping on Amazon)
3. Watch 7 online trainings (1/month)
4. Attend all monthly trainings

PLUS, if you share with 20 people (I'm just sharing with everybody at each home show) your trip cost goes down from $250 to $150!! I'll see you girls in FLORIDA! :)

Testing.Testing.123

Well. I decided to try starting a blog for us. Becuase we have THREE jewelers now! Hehe. I know... we're rollin.

This is what happened: I've been in Premier for a year now, but definitely don't feel like I know it all. So I'm getting ready to train Shannon on Saturday and intended on sending an email out to all three girls asking Brittany & Chris to share a little bit about your beginnings as a jeweler... Then I got to thinking... this would be a good start to a blog! And then we can ALL share things that we accross or need advice on. Especially since we'll be training in FOUR different places!

If you subscribe, you can set it up for the blog to let you know anytime something new has been posted. Then instead of the "reply all" situation on email, you can just post to here! And on top of that, we'll have archives forever! :) PLUS. This is waaaaay cuter than email.

So... here's what I need to know from you first:

1. Any ideas for a better title? Haahha. I like cheesy. And I wanted something to do with jewelry or something, but catchy... We can change it as many times as we want. LoL.

2. B & C... can you tell us a little but about your beginnings as a jeweler? What training or ideas has helped a lot? What did you wish you knew? What has happened that you didn't expect (good or bad)? And so on...

3. Do you think this blog thing will work? :)

Here are my answers:

1. I don't have a better title. But I'll keep thinking. Or this one will grow on me. :)

2. Here are the most helpful things that I learned:

- STAY IN CONTACT (hense, the blog). Premier is like a family, seriously. And the more you stay in contact with your Premier family, the stronger you'll be as a jeweler!
- "Those that train, remain. Those that don't, won't." - when I started Premier, they told me this. And I PROMISE you, the girls who go to training regularly are doing FAR better in their business than those who DONT go to training. It's just how it works. AND from my own experience, in those months where I didn't go to training, I was MUCH worse than when I did train. [PS. Everyone plan on going to rally!!!]

Something that I wish someone would have hit me over the head with some more: PAY BACK YOUR INVESTMENT FIRST! You may or may not know that I was a bit laxidaisical when I began in Premier. I "wanted" to pay back my investment, but was satisfied with the minimum payment on my card. BIIIIIG NO NO! PAY BACK YOUR INVESTMENT BEFORE AAAAANYTHING ELSE!

3. I think this blog is gonna be SO MUCH FUN. :)

Love you girls... And WELCOME SHANNON!!!
